Where our RV park in Acton, CA sits
The resort is at 1535 West Sierra Highway in Acton, right off the Antelope Valley Freeway (CA-14). Acton is a small country town in northern Los Angeles County. It sits between Santa Clarita to the south and Palmdale to the north.
That location is the big reason guests choose us. You get open hills, clean air at about 3,000 feet, and dark night skies. But you are still about 35 minutes from Universal Studios Hollywood and about 40 minutes from Hollywood itself, without heavy traffic.
Many guests call Acton the gateway to Southern California. From one base you can reach theme parks, beaches, desert parks, and the mountains of the Angeles National Forest.
The RV sites
Every site at The Californian is a recreational vehicle site. We do not allow tent camping. Sites are laid out in neat rows with full hookups, so you can settle in fast.

Daily and weekly guests may have one RV and two vehicles per site. Up to five people and three dogs can stay on one site.

Rates and how to book
Our pricing is simple. Nightly rates start at $80 per night for one or two guests. Members of AAA, AARP, the military, Club Out West, Elks, Escapes, and FMCA can get a discounted nightly rate starting at $75.
For longer trips, weekly stays start at $475 per week and monthly stays start at $1,300 per month. A small surcharge applies for three or more guests.

Check-in, check-out, and office hours
Check-in is at 1:00 PM. If you need to arrive earlier, early check-in is $25. Check-out is at noon, and late check-out is $10 per hour after that.
The office is open Monday through Friday Mon–Fri 11 AM–4 PM and Sat 9 AM–1 PM and Saturday from 9 AM to 1 PM. It is closed on Sunday. If you plan to arrive outside those hours, call ahead so we can help you plan.
What guests say about the quiet
Acton is a rural town, and the resort feels that way. Quiet hours run from 10 PM to 7 AM every night. The speed limit inside the resort is 5 mph. Those rules are a big part of why guests describe the park as calm and respectful.
Some guests stay one night on the way to somewhere else. Others stay for months. Both groups get the same clean sites and the same quiet nights.
