RV Parks Near Lancaster, CA: Stay in the Foothills Just South of Town

Close to the Antelope Valley, with quieter nights and mountain views.

April 21, 2026 · Nearby

If you are comparing RV parks in Lancaster, CA, you already know the Antelope Valley has wide open space and a lot to see. What you may not know is that some of the quietest RV sites in the area sit a short drive south, in the foothills of Acton.

The Californian RV Resort is on the Antelope Valley Freeway (CA-14), south of Palmdale and Lancaster. Here is why it works as a Lancaster base.

The drive to Lancaster

Acton and Lancaster are both on CA-14. The drive north is simple, usually about half an hour depending on traffic. You can run into town for work, shopping, or events and be back at your site for a quiet evening.

Acton sits at about 3,000 feet, in the hills between the Santa Clarita Valley and the Antelope Valley. It is often a bit cooler and less windy than the open valley floor.

What the resort offers

  • Full hookups with 30 and 50 amp electric service
  • Complimentary Wi-Fi throughout
  • A pool and hot tub (seasonal)
  • A laundry room and exercise room
  • Propane on site
  • A gated, quiet setting with quiet hours from 10 PM to 7 AM
