RV Parks Near Santa Clarita: A Quiet Base Just North of Town

Close to Valencia and Newhall, but with country quiet and mountain views.

January 26, 2026 · Nearby

If you are looking at RV parks in Santa Clarita, you are probably after a spot that is close to the city but not stuck in it. Santa Clarita has a lot going for it: theme parks, shopping, trails, and quick access to I-5 and CA-14. Finding a quiet RV site nearby is the hard part.

The Californian RV Resort sits in Acton, just north of Santa Clarita on the Antelope Valley Freeway (CA-14). Here is why many guests use it as their Santa Clarita base.

Where Acton sits compared to Santa Clarita

Acton is the next community up CA-14 from Santa Clarita. For most guests, the drive into Canyon Country, Newhall, or Valencia is short and simple. You stay off busy city streets at night and still get to town fast in the morning.

The resort is at about 3,000 feet, higher than most of Santa Clarita. That means cleaner air, open views of the hills, and quiet nights. Quiet hours run from 10 PM to 7 AM.

What you get at the resort

  • Full hookups with 30 and 50 amp electric service
  • Complimentary Wi-Fi throughout
  • A pool and hot tub (seasonal)
  • A laundry room and an exercise room
  • Propane on site
  • A gated entrance

All sites are RV sites. There is no tent camping. See the full list on our amenities page.
